We came here on a weekday afternoon and it was pretty quiet. The indoor seating is spacious and perfect for groups, and the decor is nice. Service was fast and everyone was friendly. I got the special pie, which had cheese and vegetables. I liked it overall but could see and taste that the crust was a little undercooked. My husband enjoyed the steak and ale pie and the sticky toffee pudding (I thought it was a little on the sweet side) but really disliked the Scotch egg. He felt it was under-seasoned and didn't get past the first bite. All in all it was nice to have a throwback to the food we had in England but it wasn't up to the standard of English food as I remember it. I personally wouldn't return but could see it being a fun place to get drinks with a group of friends, definitely a nice vibe.

What a lovely place to be on a Saturday afternoon! This place is absolutely beautiful . It's giving vintage meets new kid on the block in the best ways. I was with a party of six and we were sat right away. We were almost immediately given carafes of water with glasses and our server, AM C. came over and started drink orders. Btw, she looked so pretty in her colorful outfit ! Heads up that they do NOT split the bill. You have to figure that out at the end of your meal. We started with drinks and I ordered the London Classic Gin and Tonic because why not? I really appreciated the cloves that were present. It gave definitely took it up a notch for me For the appetizers we ordered several things to pass around . I had the Scotch egg which is a medium boiled egg wrapped in sausage, coated in breadcrumbs and fried. Yes, I said fried lol. It comes with a side of grainy mustard that was absolutely astonishing! I also ordered the Deluxe Gravy Chips. Those are "chips" with braised beef, aged cheddar and gravy. Also, the prices here for the quality of food that you're served are unmatched in today's economy. We also ordered Rarebit Mac and Cheese and Welsh Rarebit which is beer cheese poured onto sourdough and broiled.. super yum! My drink, which was HUGE by the way was so yum! Gin and Tonic is either a hit or miss and this was a HIT! Omgaaaaah! Spectacular, gimme 10 of them right now! lol! We all ended up ordering the same thing. The Steak and Ale pie. You can order it topped (we did) and that just means it comes with a scoop of mashed potatoes and gravy ! I feel like this is a key part to the dish lol! Everything looked and tasted fantastic . I have no notes, other than you should hurry up and give them a visit ! Oh, I also ordered an Espresso martini.. 10/10 good! The espresso wasn't overpowering nor was the alcohol too strong. I'm usually very apprehensive about these but this one was PERFECT! I love that I've discovered another gem that's not even 10 minutes away for me! I'll be stopping in again very soon! Our total was 238.86 which is crazy good for six people considering that's like 3 bags of groceries now lol! Thank you for a beautiful experience! You guys are doing GREAT!

This place is awesome! There's paid street parking that's pretty easy to access and the inside is casual and welcoming. Service was excellent and they really knew which items were gluten-free or vegan or vegetarian, etc. We had a selection of the pot pies and everyone enjoyed theirs tremendously. The steak and ale was my favorite. Highly recommend you get it crowned with mashed potatoes and gravy. Our drinks were very tasty and I adore the fact that they have Pimms Cup on tap. Wealso tried a salad which was very tasty and the sticky toffee pudding, which was good but very rich. Prices are excellent and we will definitely be back here. Highly recommend!
